Laval (53000) Celebrating the Public Gardens of Laval 10 am – 6 pm

On the programme…
On Saturday and Sunday, visit the pollinarium at 3pm and the Roseraie at 3.30pm. Concerts by the Conservatoire recorder class on Sunday at 2.30pm and 5pm.
On Saturday 8 June, the Jardin de l’ex-Banque de France will be hosting a dance performance, while the Ferrié district will be hosting events from 10am to 4pm.
At Saint-Nicolas, on 8 and 9 June, from 10am to 6pm, tours of the allotment gardens will be offered, along with educational workshops. Free and open to all.


Lassay les Châteaux Castle (53110): Middle Ages Reenactment 10 am – 6 pm

A dramatised historical reconstruction of life in the castle in the middle of the 15th century, with 40 costumed performers, jousting shows, equestrian games and combat on foot.

Ambrières les Vallées (53300) Walk/Cycle/Mountain Bike event 1.30 pm – 3 pm

Come one, come all, on foot, road or mountain bike, with family or friends, and discover our beautiful walking paths. The start of the Transversaine will be at Parc de Vaux, Ambrières-les-Vallées.

This event offers several routes: MTB: 20-30-40-50-70 km, Road: 70km (The route can only be followed with a gpx track, which can be downloaded from helloasso from 1 June), Walking: 8-15 or 20 km

Sunday 9th June

Mayenne (53100) Swim/Run Event 2.30pm

The first SWIMRUN DE MAYENNE, organised by the MAYTRIATHLON club, will take place on Sunday 9 June 2024 at the Cale de Mayenne and the surrounding area.
The Mayenne Swimrun comprises two Swimrun events: a 5km event and a 10km event.
Each event can be run in pairs or solo.


Cycle Tour: The Vélo Fourchette 2024 10.30 am – 4 pm, 46km Route 11

The 11th route starts in Bonchamp-lès-Laval and goes as far as Montflours, Ferme des Epiés (Christine and Thierry Sabin) in Bonchamp-lès-Laval.

SCHEDULE FOR THE DAY
10.30am: Visit to the Epiés farm and cheese dairy, followed by a tasting of cow’s milk cheeses.
12pm-1pm: Lunch. Bring your own picnic lunch. Tables and chairs on site (with a sheltered area if required).
13:00-15:00: Cycle to the Brasserie in Montflours.
15:00: Start of the tour of the brewery, followed by a beer tasting.
Return by bike from 4.30pm.

The Laval SwimRun is organising the second May’Court & Nage, an event to support young people’s mental health. This event is organised to promote mental health among young people.

3 formats : Le Bô M: 75 teams maximum, M Race = 14 km, swim = 2900 m, The Mignonne: 75 teams maximum, XS race = 6 km, swim = 800m, The XS discovery race: 40 teams only! The Mayenne festival takes place right in the centre of Mayenne, in the leafy setting of the Parc du Château. Un singe en Été features 2 paying evenings (Friday and Saturday) and one free day (Sunday) of concerts, making for 3 days of music and festivities. The programme focuses mainly on contemporary music. Festival “LES BALDIFOLIES Route de Normandie 53160 Bais

The Baldifolies festival is organised by the Harmonie de Bais (53). This group of some forty cheerful musicians organises this festival to promote amateur music and showcase all the musical ensembles in the Mayenne department and neighbouring regions. With over 35 groups taking part, totalling more than 1,000 musicians, this event has now become a not-to-be-missed event.

Jazz bands, funk bands, steel bands, harmony or symphony orchestras, choirs, street bands, brass bands… There’s something for everyone! Parking, refreshments and fast food on site.
