Friday 14th July – Celebrating the Fête Nationale in the Mayenne

Laval

From late afternoon onwards, you’ll be able to enjoy musical and dance entertainment by the water at the halte fluviale, square de Boston.

At 9 p.m., still in Boston Square, the Light’up orchestra will host a popular dance, in anticipation of nightfall and the fireworks show. A colorful, magical and dazzling show sure to delight young and old alike.

Mayenne

For July 14th, a program of family-friendly activities awaits you all day long: children’s games including a zip-line over the Mayenne, boat rides, Dandy rides offered by the Tourist Office, an afternoon of canoeing and kayaking initiation with the JSPA Mayenne association… and of course, the festive evening awaits you right afterwards!

7.30pm: Les allumés du bidon

9:30pm: Rock band : Antidote

11pm: fireworks

St Ellier du Maine

10 a.m.: Games for young and old, 5.5 km or 8.5 km hikes,

1:30pm: shuffleboard tournament (€10 per double, max 40 teams, many prizes to be won)

2pm: pétanque, belotte, wooden games (Free)

7pm: evening dance

11pm: fireworks.

Chateau Gontier

As every year, enjoy the traditional July 14th fireworks display at 11pm from the Parc de l’Oisillière! It will be followed by a dancing to live music!
