Enjoy an original and convivial music festival in VAIGES on Saturday 22 JUNE 2024 from 7pm with a stage open for part of the evening to singers and instrumentalists of all kinds. The aim is for musicians/singers to come with their instrument(s) and perform their own compositions, covers, etc.
A bar and restaurant will be set up on site, and in the event of inclement weather, there will be an alternative venue in the multi-purpose hall! Participants must register before 10 June.

Les Jardins des Renaudies welcome Anne-Marie MORIN, Vice Grand Master of the Ohara School of Ikebana, the traditional Japanese art of flower arranging.

This Sunday, you are invited to discover and experiment with this subtle art of flower arranging. Ikebana is the art of arranging flowers, branches, foliage and other elements of nature in tall vases or flat bowls, according to rules and codes defined by the Grand Masters of flowers.

The 10th “Un singe en été” festival in Mayenne: concerts and street performances return on 28 and 29 June 2024. The Mayenne festival takes place right in the centre of Mayenne, in the leafy setting of the Parc du Château. Un singe en Été features 2 paying evenings (Friday and Saturday) and one free day (Sunday) of concerts, making for 3 days of music and festivities. The programme focuses mainly on contemporary music. The aim of the festival is to give everyone the chance to discover unique, eclectic, surprising and varied musical projects. Full programme on their website: http://unsingeenete.com/

Festival “LES BALDIFOLIES Route de Normandie 53160 Bais

The Baldifolies festival is organised by the Harmonie de Bais (53). This group of some forty cheerful musicians organises this festival to promote amateur music and showcase all the musical ensembles in the Mayenne department and neighbouring regions. With over 35 groups taking part, totalling more than 1,000 musicians, this event has now become a not-to-be-missed event.

Jazz bands, funk bands, steel bands, harmony or symphony orchestras, choirs, street bands, brass bands… There’s something for everyone! Parking, refreshments and fast food on site.
Free eco-responsible festival.

Morning walk followed by the summer solstice festival – from 9am
Programme for the festive day:

From 9am to 12pm: Inauguration of the Jean-Claude Moncé walking trail numbers 60 and 61:

• coffee reception and inauguration at 9am
• Start of the walking tour at 9.30am. 2 routes to discover: route no. 60 of 13 km and route no. 61 of 4.2 km (special for families). Drinks offered at the end of the walk.

From 12pm to 10pm: Summer solstice festival:

• music and storytelling
• caving, film and painting workshops
• astronomical observations
  8.30pm: Closing of the summer solstice with a concert by Madiba Gospel in the church.
